What’s a healthy and fit body, if your mental game is struggling?

Who has found themselves struggling to handle the day? Meeeeeee.

In the last couple of years my physical and mental health have gone in directions I still can’t explain. Ok, maybe it had to do with a high risk pregnancy, intense postpartum months, turning 30, and a pandemic year....

But hear me out! Even though I haven’t found all my answers, I am moving forward. I now put my mental health up front instead of ignoring it.

We’re always “pushing aside” our mental state, mostly because we don’t know what to do? Friends! I’ve learned that this doesn’t have to be an overwhelming task!


Just like moving for 20 minutes a day can do amazing things for your body, so can taking 20 min a day to do these things:

  1. Gratitude Journal! Ask yourself questions, don’t brush off your thoughts.

  2. Diffuse. Can’t say this enough. Our sense of smell is so powerful. It talks directly to the emotion part of your brain.

  3. Breathe. Box breathing is a great method that doesn’t take much time at all!

  4. Grounding. Touch the ground. Go outside. Sit in a window!

  6. Talk to someone. DM, text, Marco…send a pigeon! Tell them how you’re feeling.
